Day 5: Thursday12th February

Another wicked day!

Once again all children were in bed early and quickly went to sleep, but were up early and raring to go. We had a hearty breakfast and prepared ourselfs for another day ahead. Todays activities included: Horse Riding, Canoeing, Mountain Walking and Adventuring. All groups arrived back very tired but had thoroughly enjoyed their day. Once again children were able to play in the snow high up in the mountains and had great fun sliding their way down at the same time as trying to take down the teacher and instructor.

Horse Riders had a great day and enjoyed meeting their horses and trekking through the mountains and the canoeing group made their way down the River Wye and a few children decided to go for a float!!

Fun had by all!!!

What a brilliant day, the weather has been sunny and cool and all children participated in the activities. Today we had groups caving, riding and adventuring.

Another Great Day!

Another fantastic day has been had by all. Last night all children went to bed at a reasonable time, as I do believe they may have been tired!!

Today has been excellent, but unfortunately due to the snowy and icy weather one group couldn't go horse riding, but they will have the opportunity later in the week. Todays activities include: canoeing along the River Wye, Adventuring, Caving and Mountain Walking. The weather was cold and in some areas children experienced a lot of snow. Fun has been had by all.....

Day 2:- Monday 9th February

What a fantastic day!!

All children had a good nights sleep and were up bright and early for a fun filled day of activities. We had groups; canoeing, adventuring, mountain walking and caving. The weather has been wet and cold all day, but all children were well behaved and loved every minute of their activities. Children who went on Adventure had the opportunity to play in snow up to and beyond their knees!

Sunday 8th february

Arrival at Glasbury House!!

We have all arrived safely at the house after a long journey, which lasted 5 hours. We had a great lunch at the services on the way, where many tucked into the healthy option of Burger King or KFC (delicious!). The children were all well behaved and we arrived safely at approx 5pm. So far we have all settled in, unpacked, had a delicious evening meal!!, a fire drill and a tour of the grounds. At the momment we are busy writing our diaries and letters home. Preparing for our Trip!

Year 6 are currently getting very excited, as in a weeks time some children are going on an exciting week of activities to Glasbury House in Wales. We hope it will be an adventure for all. Don't forget to pack your warm clothes!!
